looks like a retro picture or an old painting, with all the blur/pale coloring
it really dramatize the beginning of nightmare moon and also gives us the idea of something old.
it is a well draw art, although for fans only, that know the story of the two princess.
as an art a little bit childish but acceptable since the concept is a children's cartoon.
by the way my 8 year old daughter love it. and since she did who am i to argue with an art made for children...
